It is PATIO season here in Oklahoma! Well at least as long at the wind isn’t blowing a million miles per hour or we decide to drop from 75 to 35 degrees overnight. Okies, you get this!

I don’t know about you, but nothing makes me happier than enjoying a meal on a patio! (That might be an exaggeration, but you get my drift.) Especially if it is a kid friendly atmosphere that has a space for my kids to run around and be crazy and dig in dirt in between bites of a quesadilla or chicken strips. We surveyed the mamas in our Fit4mom Village and came up with a list of our favorite spots to check out this Spring and Summer!

1. Edmond Railyard

Several options for food, plenty of open space for play, trains

2. Ice House Project, Edmond

Grab pizza or tacos and hit up the brewery or ice cream while the kids play on the huge climbing grasshopper

3. Louie’s at Lake Hefner, Oklahoma City

Enjoy the view of the lake while in the fenced in patio area

4. Chisholm Creek Restaurants, Oklahoma City

Several different restaurants with their own patios plus a shared space with plenty of room to run around and a small playground

5. Chicken n Pickle, Oklahoma City

So many fun activities for the kiddos to play with outside

6. Taco Nation at Wheeler Park, Downtown OKC

Fenced playground area on the patio plus the Wheeler Ferris Wheel nearby

7. Aurora, The Plaza District

Fun outdoor spot for breakfast and lunch

8. Chicken Shack, Arcadia

Plenty of outdoor space, playground, plenty of dirt

9. Nashbirds, Automobile Alley Downtown OKC

Fun spot to see a train and enjoy yummy chicken

10. Hall’s Pizza Kitchen, Midtown OKC

Great patio and the kids can play with pizza dough while you wait for your food

Going out to eat with kids doesn’t have to be torture! You just need to find the places that allow space for the wiggles, fresh air, and of course food kids like. We hope you find this list helpful and create some fun memories with your family and friends this Spring and Summer!
